How to Use Our Store
  • Our store features all publicly available content produced by Race Sim Studio since our beginning.
  • Each year we introduce two packages: Ultimate Bundle (everything up to the end of the year in the title) and Upgrade Bundle (that year’s releases only). Newer cars released after these bundles are not included.
  • Each product page shows an initial release date that determines bundle inclusion.
  • There can be a decade between releases. Newer cars add features and detail, which may require newer tools and stronger PC hardware.
  • Most vehicles are available individually; some are packaged into multi-car packs.
  • Products are grouped by vehicle type for easier browsing: Formula, GT, Prototype, and more.
  • Livery templates are kept up to date: All Livery Templates.
  • Boost immersion with our dashboards: Ultimate SimHub Dashboards.
  • We run occasional sales—subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
  • At checkout, keep the updates box ticked and enter your email correctly to receive product updates.
Understanding Our Bundles
Ultimate Bundle (e.g. 2024)
Everything released from our beginning through the end of the stated year - ideal for newcomers who want the full RSS library up to that year.
Upgrade Bundle (e.g. 2024)
Only that calendar year’s releases - ideal for existing customers upgrading from an older Ultimate Bundle.
Note: Always check release dates on product pages to avoid duplicate purchases.

Direct-Drive Wheelbases

Summary: DD bases give the most detail and consistency. Match torque to rig stiffness and wheel size.

  • Mid DD: Moza R9 Bundles (Up to 9 Nm) - View
  • High DD: Moza R12 Bundles (Up to 12 Nm) - View
  • Brands to consider: Fanatec, Thrustmaster, Moza, Simagic, Asetek, Logitech.
Tip: Mount DD units to a rigid frame; flex reduces fidelity. RSS develops and tests with Thrustmaster, Fanatec and Simagic.
Steering Wheels
  • GT/Formula: Flat/open-top rims for fast inputs and high-downforce cars.
  • Round: Better leverage for road, rally, and drift.
  • Inputs: Dual clutches, encoders, and quality switches help at the limit.
  • Ecosystem: Check quick-release compatibility when mixing brands..
Pedals
  • Load cell: Best value and consistency. Brake by force, not travel.
  • Hydraulic: Adds compliance feel; great for endurance preference.
  • Setup: Rigid mount, set a consistent max brake force in software, practise threshold braking.
Shifters & Handbrakes
  • H-pattern: Classics and road cars - mount close to the wheel.
  • Sequential: Touring, prototypes, some GT.
  • Handbrake: Rally and drift; look for progressive sensors and solid mounting.
Rigs & Seats
  • 8020 aluminium: High rigidity for DD torque and firm braking. TrakRacer, GT Omega and Next Lever Racing.
  • Wheel/pedal plate stiffness: Critical for FFB clarity and brake repeatability.
  • Seating: GT vs formula posture changes reach and visibility - pick for your discipline. For office chair style, choose Secret Lab.
Displays & VR
  • Triple 1080p 144 Hz: Great FOV with modest GPU needs.
  • Ultra-wide 1440p: Simple setup and strong immersion.
  • VR: Best cockpit presence; tune CSP for smoothness.
  • Dashboards: RSS Ultimate SimHub Dashboards
Accessories & Ecosystems
  • Button boxes/rotaries: Map MGU, brake bias, diff, and MFD pages for advanced cars.
  • Cable management: Prevent snags during fast inputs.
  • Vibration/tactile: Buttkicker shakers for kerbs, revs, and lockups.
  • Buying tips: Prioritise pedals, confirm ecosystem/QR compatibility, upgrade rig stiffness before increasing torque.
